What we're watching: The classic film adaptation of Lillian Hellman's play THE CHILDREN'S HOUR, starring Audrey Hepburn, Shirley MacLaine and James Garner, out now on Blu-ray!

And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Linda Lavin, who turns 77 today!

A prolific, award-winning stage actress, Lavin last starred on Broadway in 2012's The Lyons. Before that, she appeared in Collected Stories, Hollywood Arms, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Sisters Rosensweig, Gypsy, Broadway Bound (which earned her a Tony in 1987), The Enemy Is Dead, Paul Sills' Story Theatre, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Cop-Out, Something Different, It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman, The Riot Act and A Family Affair. She played a recurring role on Barney Miller before taking the lead in CBS's Alice for almost a decade; she won two Golden Globes and was nominated for an Emmy.
