The 60's Project, conceived and written by Janet Brenner and directed by Richard Maltby, Jr., will be presented at Cap 21 The Shop (18 West 18th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues) from November 9th through 19th.

The show is "A musical about one of the most dramatic decades in United States history. Told through the powerful, poetic songs of the period, in a mixed media production, the story follows the evolution of a group of young people from 1960 to 1970." It features Cameron Adams, Jeb Brown, Mark Bush, Dwayne Clark, J.D. Goldblatt, Stevein Goldsmith, Kevin Hale, Rodney Hicks, Claire Karpen, Chad Kimball, Anika Larsen, Megan Lewis, Amy McAlexander, Jason Poole, Lois Robbins, Marlayna, Syms Idara Victor, Max von Essen, Andi Whaley and Angela Williams.

The show features musical supervision by Don York, musical direction by Jeffry Klitz, choreography by Lisa Shriver, costumes by Kitty Leech, and projections by Wendall Harrington.

A Meet the Artists reception will be held on Saturday, November 12th at 7 PM. A show ticket and pre-show reception pass can be purchased for $40.00; the ticket price includes a special pre-show reception with the writer, director and creative team members of The 60's Project.
