Vocalist and jazz aficionado Keith A. Dames will be joined at the three-day event by The Lafayette Harris Jr. Quartet featuring Lafayette on piano, Curtis Lundy on bass, Marvin Horne on guitar and G. Earl Grice on drums. The shows, which honor the late jazz legend (born Eleanora Fagan on April 7), are produced by SeMad Productions & Highway Productions In Association With Down Stage Pass. Keith, a graduate of City College of New York considers himself a student of the Billie Holiday School of Music has released two self-produced CD's featuring Billie's compositions as well as tunes from the American Song Book. A Miami native of Bahamian descent Dames, has also appeared at Stage 72 (The Triad), Jazzmobile, The Metropolitan Room, Symphony Space (Singers Space Feature Spot) @ and the Apollo Theater (New Amsterdam Musical Association (NAMA) Centennial Celebration).
