Iconic British fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood has designed a range of limited edition T-shirts for this year's Red Nose Day taking place on Friday 18th March 2011. Available exclusively from TK Maxx, all net profits from sales of the range will go towards helping people living unimaginably tough lives across the UK and Africa.

A host of celebrities are modelling the T-shirts including Sienna Miller, Helena Christensen, Ant & Dec and Sophie Dahl with photographs taken by Bryan Adams.

The T-shirts are an eclectic collection of striking black and white prints that represent a unique fusion of humour and iconic historical images. The designs feature Rowan Atkinson as 'Edmund' & Miranda Richardson as 'Queenie' from the Blackadder series, William Shakespeare, The Laughing Audience by Hogarth, a punk girl and a Louis XVI lady. There is also a Pirate Design and a Mother & Baby Elephant, reminiscent of the days of the Raj, especially for children. All T-shirts feature Comic Relief's signature Red Nose.

Vivienne Westwood said, "I once did a collection called 'I am Expensiv', meaning that we are supported by the suffering of the whole world in our privilege bubbles and we must try and help people a bit. Comic Relief does a lot and I try to help where I can. I do believe we are an endangered species and I think it is great to try and do anything you possibly can even if to help just one person. But Comic Relief does more than that."

The T-shirts have been wholly manufactured in Africa. 100% of the cotton has been sourced from Fairtrade certified organic cotton co-operatives in Mali. This ensures good quality, pesticide and GM free cotton and a fair price to farmers in developing countries.

To own a piece of fashion history, whilst supporting Red Nose Day, get your limited edition T-shirt. The collection goes on sale online and in TK Maxx stores nationwide on Thursday 3rd February 2011 with prices from £5.99 for a kid's T-shirt to £14.99 for a ladies fashion T-shirt. All net profits from the sales go to Comic Relief.
