Fish In the Dark, the new comedy starring and written by Larry David, the creator and star of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm and co-creator of Seinfeld, begins previews at Broadway's Cort Theater tonight, February 2nd and open on March 5 for a limited 18-week engagement through Sunday, June 7. Fish In the Dark, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, will mark Larry David's Broadway debut and will feature Jayne Houdyshell, Jake Cannavale, Jonny Orsini, Rosie Perez, and Jerry Adler.
The world knows David as the Emmy Award-winning creator of Seinfeld, but the funny man also has plenty of experience in front of the camera. Below, we've gathered clips some of David's acting work!
David co-created "Seinfeld," which debuted in 1989 and went on to become one of the most successful shows in television history. In 1999, David wrote and starred in "Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm," a one-hour special for HBO, which spawned the critically acclaimed HBO series that ran for eight seasons. In 2009, he starred in Woody Allen's comedy Whatever Works. Most recently, he co-wrote and starred in the HBO Films comedy "Clear History," which aired in 2013.
