Video: Eric Idle Talks THE SPAMALOT DIARIES Book, Available Now!

The new book, The Spamalot Diaries, is available now! The book tells the inside story of what it took to bring Monty Python and the Holy Grail to Broadway as the unlikely theatrical hit Spamalot, as told through actual diaries from the legendary comic performer, founding member of Monty Python, and New York Times bestselling author Eric Idle.

Idle recently chatted with MSNBC about the book in an appearance yesterday, where he shared more about what fans can expect.

"They are diaries I kept during rehearsal, and I found them two years ago when I was moving house," he shared. "I showed them to my wife, and she thought they were fantastic. They're interesting, because they tell the story before you know you've got a hit. The show doesn't just come together, there are a lot of creative forces clashing."
