Victoria Clark, Beth Leavel, Daisy Eagan and More Join BROADWAY SINGS FOR EAT'S SUPPER Tonight, 9/10

Emerging Artists Theatre will present some of Broadway's best and brightest during its third annual benefit, BROADWAY SINGS FOR EAT'S SUPPER! tonight, September 10th, at 24 Fifth Avenue Ballroom. This special evening will honor actress Shannon Bolin Kaye, the original Meg in Damn Yankees.

Victoria Clark (Tony Winner – Light in the Piazza, Tony Nomination – Sister Act), Daisy Eagan (Tony Winner – The Secret Garden) and Beth Leavel (Tony Winner – The Drowsy Chaperone, Tony Nomination – Baby, It's You) join Zach James (The Addams Family), Mary Stout (Me and My Girl, My Favorite Year), Will Taylor (A Chorus Line), and William Youmans (Wicked) singing mouth-watering parodies of delicious familiar Broadway tunes.

Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT), the acclaimed Off-Broadway, Drama Desk nominated company dedicated to fostering new work and artist development, is pairing up award-winning Broadway voices with EAT playwrights – the stars suggest the songs, the playwrights make them playful (in a nod to their company name) with food-centric rewrites, and our supporters get an evening of delicious entertainment. Guests also get the chance to win fabulous goodies in our silent auction.

Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) provides a dynamic home for playwrights and theatre artists to whip up creative ideas from initial inspiration to fully realized productions. In the past 20 years, Emerging Artists has premiered over 350 new works and has garnered several honors, among them a Drama Desk Nomination, an American Theatre Wing Grant Award for Consistent Commitment to Excellence in Theatre, and recognition as Best Off-Off-Broadway Theatre Company in NYC for Actors to Work With by Backstage Magazine.
