A Staged Reading of KEVIN Ray Johnson's (The Unpredictable Times) newest play Birdie & Tim will be presented on Sunday, September 16th in New York City with a short talk-back scheduled right after.
S. Lee Lewis (The Unpredictable Times) will direct the One-Act.
Veronica Kuehn (Broadway's Mamma Mia, Off-Broadway's Avenue Q, & Clinton: the Musical) and Cody Davis (Broadway's Cinderella, & Bright Star National Tour) will star as Birdie and Tim respectively. Brian Charles Rooney (Broadway's, The Threepenny Opera) will be 'Tim's Friend', with 13 year old Addison Ruscoe (Asolo Repertory Theatre's, Shakespeare in Love) as 'The Kid'.
Rounding out the cast will be Michael Coale Grey, John Gibson, and Matt Welsh. The Scene Reader will be Leah Henry.
The show follows Birdie and Tim who meet in New York City one night at a house party. During their short time together they discover that "Love at First Sight" doesn't stop the responsibilities that come your way.
