Stars in the House continues tonight (8pm ET) with a Sophisticated Ladies Reunion! Duke Ellington: The Music That Defined A Century with Mercedes Ellington, Judith Jamison, Teri Klausner, Ty Stephens and guest hosts Erich McMillian-McCall and Kenneth Hanson.
Sophisticated Ladies is a musical revue based on the music of Duke Ellington. The musical ran on Broadway in 1981-83, earning 2 awards and 8 nominations at the 35th Tony Awards.
Stars in the House, which officially kicked off on March 16, 2020 is a daily series that features stars of stage and screen singing or performing plays live (from home!) to promote support for charitable services for those most vulnerable to the effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Joining Seth and James for the shows is Dr. Jon LaPook, chief medical correspondent for CBS News.
