The Screen Actors Guild Awards presented its coveted Actor statuettes for the outstanding motion picture and primetime television performances of 2015 at the 22nd Annual SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS held Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. During the ceremony, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler presented Carol Burnett with the 52nd Life Achievement Award, following a filmed salute to the comedic trailblazer, actor, singer, dancer, producer and author. Watch the presentation and the acceptance speech below!

Burnett was last seen on Broadway in the revival of Love Letters. Her CBS variety show, THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW ran from 1967 to 1978 and won Burnett and the team numerous Emmy and Golden Globe awards. Following the variety show, Burnett starred in the films PETE 'N' TILLIE, THE FOUR SEASONS, ANNIE, NOISES OFF and more.

Burnett made her Broadway debut in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS in 1959, followed by FADE OUT - FADE IN, MOON OVER BUFFALO, PUTTING IT TOGETHER and HOLLYWOOD ARMS. She received a special Tony Award in 1969.
