Last night, FOX aired a Glee tribute episode to fallen cast member Cory Monteith. The actor passed away on July 13th due to an accidental drug overdose. The emotionally charged episode, titled 'The Quarterback,' focused on Monteith's character Finn Hudson, a former star football player for the fictional McKinley High.

Set entirely in Lima, Ohio, home of the high school, the episode opened with the news of the athlete's death and went on to focus on all the characters remembering and mourning him, and celebrating his life. Below check out all the stirring performances from the episode including:

Past and present Glee club members perform "Seasons of Love" from the RENT soundtrack.

Mercedes pays tribute to Finn with the Pretenders' hit "I'll Stand By You."

Sam and Artie lead the New Directions in singing the James Taylor classic "Fire and Rain."

Santana shows a softer side with her performance of "If I Die Young" by Santana.

Puck remembers his best friend with Bruce Springsteen's "No Surrender."

Rachel sings a stirring rendition of Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love."
