YOUNGER follows Liza (Foster), a 40-year old woman who pretends to be 26 in order to get a job in the highly competitive world of publishing - and succeeds. Now working under the prickly Diana (Miriam Shor), Liza has to figure out how to balance her real life with bestie Maggie (Debi Mazar), and her "pretend" life with new friend and coworker Kelsey (Duff)... all while embarking on an exciting and somewhat confusing relationship with sexy tattoo artist Josh (Nico Tortorella).

Popping up in the 12-episode first season are a variety of TV favorites, including Jane Krakowski ("30 Rock") as a hard-partying author and Diana's former best friend; Ana Gasteyer ("Saturday Night Live") as a woman whose book is plucked from the slush pile by Liza; Emmy Award winner Martha Plimpton ("Raising Hope") as someone from Liza's past who has stumbled into her present; and Peter Hermann ("Law & Order: SVU"), who will recur as Charles, Diana's boss and crush who ends up getting closer with Liza.

Also recurring on the series will be the hilarious Molly Bernard ("Alpha House") as Lauren, a publicist and Kelsey's BFF who is always doing something that's just a little bizarre; Thorbjorn Harr ("Vikings") as Anton Bjornberg, a Swedish author that Kelsey lands for Empirical Publishing; Dan Amboyer ("Batman vs. Superman") as Thad, Kelsey's obnoxious and self-centered boyfriend; and Tessa Albertson ("Disconnect") as Liza's daughter Caitlin. Kathy Najimy ("Sister Act") will also recur as Lauren's ever-patient mother.

YOUNGER shot in Brooklyn and New York City, is executive produced and created for television by Darren Star, who also writes and directs for the series. "Younger" is also the reunion between Star and renowned "Sex and the City" costume designer Patricia Field, who serves as the show's costume consultant.

The first episode is now available in full On Demand, on TVLand.com, Hulu, Amazon Instant Video and iTunes.
