Tomorrow, DR. OZ is joined by Honeymoon in Vegas star Tony Danza. In a revealing and emotional interview, Danza opens up at the catastrophic accident that nearly broke him. Watch a sneak peek below!
Excerpts from the appearance:
On the reason for this near fatal ski accident over 25 years ago, Danza shares: "The reason I fell is because I lost my mother. I better be careful here. What happened is I lost my mother in June. I was thinking it was the first Christmas and I had her on my mind. I'm so sorry. I was thinking about her. I fell and hurt myself. And then, I was in intensive care for three weeks."
On Christmas and his mother, Danza continues: "So every Christmas, doc come on it's not fair. No, it's not your fault or the show's fault. Okay, so every Christmas you go through this thing where you list the people that aren't there anymore. Can I get some tissue? I'm sorry, folks. I didn't mean for this to... I'm just a bit of a cry baby. I'm sorry about the emotion."
On the best advice he's received from his doctors, Danza comments: "I had a great therapist who said to me one of the greatest lines of all time, he said, 'You've gotta take part in your own recovery.' And I got that."
Tony Danza will appear on THE DR. OZ SHOW on Wednesday, March 18, 2015.
