FashionOne takes BWW Fashion readers to Saunder Spring Summer 2015 during Middle East in Dubai. Saunder showcased their 'Rock n Roll Garden of Eden collection.

The collection was inspired by the song "Inna Gadda Davida" and the heavy metal sounds of the late 60s. Her presentation was a mashup of bright color, witty references and feminine looks ranging from playful sportif to eclectic dress up that popped with brocade looks like the crop top and skirt combo and a cutout floral peplum dress. Standouts were the crisp white v-neck gown and the leopard print that was shown in a dress paired with an embellished kimono and an effortless skirt.

About Saunder:

Born in New York City to British parents, Emily Saunders spent her early years growing up in Greenwich Village and attending the United Nations School. Her life was peppered with travels to far-flung places, helping to foster a deep love of art, travel, and fashion. Saunders attended Wellesley College, where she achieved her Bachelor's Degree in English Literature. While studying abroad in London Emily spent time working as an intern in the Women's Costume Room at the Royal Opera House, solidifying her appreciation for the art of costume and design. After graduation, Saunders returned home to New York, where she enrolled in the Fashion Design program at Parsons School of Design. She spent the next two years earning her Associates degree there and working for Perry Ellis and then Marc Jacobs for two seasons as a design intern with the Women's Collection. She then set out to pursue her dream of creating her own line. In 2011 Emily launched her namesake brand SAUNDER. With a great concern for quality craftsmanship and a love for her city, the collection is produced (start to finish) in the Garment District. SAUNDER is a reflection of the eclectic taste and temperament of its designer. A traveler at heart, Saunders infuses her line with global influences as well as an overall flavor of downtown New York. Her pieces encapsulate the essence of femininity but with a quirky eclectic twist, providing beautifully unique clothes for every occasion.
