"This is real. This is not a joke," Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland assured viewers of their Facebook livestream when announcing their upcoming Broadway debuts in Oh, Hello on Broadway.
St. Geegland and Faizon, who have spent their entire lives second-acting Broadway shows, are the comedy creations of Nick Kroll (Comedy Central's "Kroll Show") and John Mulaney (Netflix's "The Comeback Kid"). The cult following for their outrageously opinionated 70-somethings led to a Comedy Central special, viral videos and late night talk show appearances.
As reported on BroadwayWorld, the new production, directed by Alex Timbers, comes after last fall's sold-out Off-Broadway run at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Broadway performances at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street) will begin on Friday September 23 with opening night set for Monday October 10. The show will run through January 8.
