Last night, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the beloved PEANUTS animated tale, "A Charlie Brown Christmas," Kristen Bell hosted a special holiday retrospective, "It's Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown".
The show featured a performance from Broadway's Matthew Morrison of an original song, "Just Like Me, co-written by famed jazz pianist David Benoit, (who serves as the current Peanuts musical director), and the show's executive producer Lee Mendelson. Check it out below!
Matthew Morrison currently stars as author J.M. Barrie in the new Broadway musical FINDING NEVERLAND. He has previously starred on Broadway in Hairspray, South Pacific, and The Light in the Piazza (for which he was nominated for a 2005 Tony® Award). He is known to television audiences for his Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominated role as Will Schuester on the hit FOX show, "Glee." Morrison has also released two studio albums since 2011, with the most recent being Where It All Began - a collection of standards, many first made famous in Broadway musicals.
