This weekend, Tony Award-winner Lin-Manuel Miranda delivered the commencement speech to his alma mater, Wesleyan University. In his address, he relates the ticking clock of life to characters from his upcoming Broadway musical HAMILTON, talks about "not throwing away my shot," and more. Check out the entire speech below!

HAMILTON will arrive on Broadway this summer at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The show will start previews on July 13th and will open on August 6th. Tickets are now on sale.

The world premiere production of Hamilton, inspired by the book "Alexander Hamilton" by Ron Chernow, withbook, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail opened February 17, 2015 at the Public Theater. The show ended its run on May 3rd.

From the creative team behind the Tony Award-winning In The Heights comes a wildly inventive new musical about the scrappy young immigrant who forever changed America: AlexanderHamilton. Tony Award nominee Thomas Kail directs this new musical about taking your shot, speaking your mind, and turning the world upside down.
