As BWW reported earlier today, Lady Gaga has signed on for the next installment of Ryan Murphy's FXanthology series AMERICAN HORROR STORY. On Sunday night, the singer brought the audience of THE ACADEMY AWARDS to its feet with her moving musical tribute to the Sound Of Music.

Today, Gaga turned to Twitter to announce the news in true 'Gaga' fashion. Check out the promo below which she captions: "Make your reservation now. #GagaAHSHotel"

While nothing has been confirmed, many believe that the hashtag "#GagaAHSHotel" indicates that the subtitle for the highly anticipated fifth installment of the series may in fact be: AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL. Stay tuned to find out!

No details have been revealed as to who Gaga will portray on the currently untitled fifth installment of the hit FX drama series. Deadline reports that actors of the core AHS cast that have been featured in multiple installments are "likely to return." Though actress Jessica Lange recently revealed she planned to exit the series following Season Four, she did leave the door open for a possible return for the upcoming installment, contingent on the character she will portray.

Ryan Murphy is an avid fan of Lady Gaga and penned and directed the Lady Gaga tribute episode "Theatricality" from the first season of GLEE. Season 5 of the FOXmusical dramedy, featured a Katy Perry vs. Lady Gaga-themed episode.

Gaga's appearance on AHS will mark her first major acting job for TV. She recently had a cameo in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. AMERICAN HORROR STORY was created by Murphy and Brad Falchuk and is produced by 20th Century FOX Television.
