Ever since his Theatre World Award-winning breakout performance as the kid from the Bronx trying to make it in showbiz in the Off-Broadway musical version of ENTER LAUGHING, Josh Grisetti has been one of New York theatre's go-to guys for nailing the big laughs and belting the funny songs.

He's turned in memorable performances in RED EYE OF LOVE and PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, and took home a Clarence Derwent Award for his Broadway debut in IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU.

Now, in addition to his film and television work, you can add author to Grisetti's list of artistic accomplishments. "God In My Head: The true story of an ex-Christian who accidentally met God" was inspired by a true to life incident.

As described by Amazon, "In the bleak winter of 2009, Agnostic and dental-phobic Josh Grisetti experienced an accidental prescription drug overdose at a dentist's office, and subsequently had an unexpected encounter with the Almighty Creator of the Universe. During the supernatural encounter, God explained the meaning of life, revealed the mysterious truths behind the writings of the Bible, unveiled the secrets of the afterlife and, most importantly, dramatically altered the spiritual course of one young man's life."

"This odd, irreverent spiritual memoir chronicles Josh's journey with blunt comic undertones, undercutting the lofty gravitas typically associated with the 'heaven tourism' genre (including best-sellers like 'Heaven is for Real,' 'To Heaven and Back' and 'Proof of Heaven'). While making no claims regarding 'proof' of God, heaven or any particular theological truth, this true story is an entertaining and thought-provoking journey into the psychology of religion and the existence of God."

The Kindle edition of "God In My Head" can be pre-ordered from amazon for a March 1st delivery. Click here for details.
