Catch up with Colella ahead of her concerts with Seth Rudetsky on June 20.
Seeing your favorite Broadway stars live on a Broadway stage may not be a reality for a while, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy them live from your screen. BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge is keeping up with all of their latest projects on Backstage Live, bringing you in-depth interviews twice weekly.
Watch as he chats with Broadway favorite Jenn Colella, who will soon join Seth Rudetsky for two very special concerts on Sunday, June 20 (3pm and 8pm).
"I love making music with Seth Rudetsky!" said Colella. "First of all, he's such a comedian and he's such a genius at keeping the flow of the evening going. He knows everything there is to know about musical theatre... I find him to be extraordinarily intelligent and fun. And he is an exquisite musician. You can give him any piece of music and he'll just say, 'Yeah, got it!'"
What can fans expect from the setlist? "I have a mix of pieces from shows that I've done, obviously- but I'm also throwing in some rock and roll, some country... some deep cuts! There have been shows that I had gorgeous songs that were cut and a lot of people haven't heard them!"
