IT'S ONLY A PLAY's Nathan Lane stopped by today's 'Live' and shared stories about the odd jobs he had in the beginning of his career. Check out the appearance below!

Lane most recently appeared on stage as Hickey in Robert Falls' production of The Iceman Cometh at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, which received rave reviews. Previously, he was seen on Broadway in It's Only a Play at the Schoenfeld Theatre alongside Matthew Broderick, Megan Mullally, Stockard Channing and F. Murray Abraham. He also appeared on Broadway in The Nance, for which he received Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations and won the Outer Critics Circle Award and the Drama League Distinguished Performance Award. He made his Broadway debut opposite George C. Scott in Present Laughter, followed by Merlin, The Wind in the Willows, Some Americans Abroad, On BorrowedTime, Guys and Dolls, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Love! Valour! Compassion!, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Man Who Came to Dinner, The Producers, The Frogs, The Odd Couple, Butley, November, Waiting for Godot, The Addams Family.

In It's Only A Play, it's opening night of Peter Austin's (Broderick) new play as he anxiously awaits to see if his show is a hit. With his career on the line, he shares his big First Night with his best friend, a television star (Lane), his fledgling producer (Finneran), his erratic leading lady (Channing), his wunderkind director (Knight), an infamous drama critic (Abraham), and a fresh-off-the-bus coat check attendant (Stock) on his first night in Manhattan. It's alternately raucous, ridiculous and tender - and proves that sometimes the biggest laughs happen offstage.
