Discover how chic Hunter has become in their latest Hunter Original Spring Summer 2015 collection from London Fashion Week. Hunter Original introduced their concept through patterns and print in the collection. Developing an aquatic theme, hints of chlorine hues were blended with a digital projection by the visual artist Mat Mailand featuring submarines, Brighton Pier, ice cream cones and waves. The show incorporated olive-green garments while later on the color spectrum expanded to blue, lilac, black and white.

About Hunter:

Hunter was founded by American entrepreneur Henry Lee Norris. Landing on Scottish soil, he founded the North British Rubber Company, later to be known as Hunter. There he produced boots and other industrial items, using the newly patented and innovative vulcanisation process to create durable rubber products.

The year 1956 marks the creation of the Original Green Wellington, one of the earliest built on a specially designed, orthopaedic last for exceptional comfort and fit. This style later became known as the Original boot, the iconic design at the heart of the Hunter brand. Today the boots are still made on the Original last and are handcrafted from 28 parts.

A new category, Hunter Original was presented for autumn/winter 2014. At the heart of brand and home of the Original boot, the category launched with an innovative runway show at London Fashion Week, showcasing the Original boot alongside new ready-to-wear and accessories. Taking inspiration from the iconic Original boot, protection from the weather and pioneering journeys into extreme environments, it was here that a new vision for the brand was unveiled under the creative direction of Alasdhair Willis, marking the start of a new path for Hunter. In spring/summer 2015, the brand will introduce the Field category. Developing on our countryside heritage, this collection features new designs, developed through advancements in manufacturing and materials.
