After the devastation of the flood and countless hours of hard work, Calgary Parks & Recreation is delighted to announce Prince's Island Park will be open for Calgary's hottest outdoor festival Expo Latino. The festival will run August 23, 24, & 25, featuring world class performances, sizzling dancing, exotic food, and lots of fun.

"We are ecstatic the Island will be ready for the public," says the Artistic Director Carmen Galvez, "Expo Latino supports community development and is a great place for Calgarians to come together and celebrate this great city, and what better way than to watch Elvis Crespo perform for the first time in Canada."

The lineup for Expo Latino 2013 will feature: Juno Award Winner Oscar Lopez, Cuban sensation Wil Campa, a flamenco showcase, a 10-piece mariachi band, Latin Grammy Award winners Grupo Mania, Grammy Award winning superstar Elvis Crespo, and much more throughout the weekend.

Families are encouraged to come down to the grounds to dance, eat, and enjoy the sights as seniors (65+) and children under the age of 12 receive free admission. Celebrating Latin culture, Expo Latino 2013 offers something for everyone.

Tickets available at Co-op Safeway and online at: www.expolatino.ca.
