Alexander Hamilton may not have been very popular with the first couple of guys who lived in The White House, but the current tenants sure do love HAMILTON and its author/star Lin-Manuel Miranda.

BroadwayWorld's extensive coverage of Miranda and the HAMILTON company's White House performance hosted by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama includes videos of the cast in action, remarks by the President and the First Lady and an amazing clip of the star freestyling with the President.

Further proof that MirandaMania has hit D.C. hard is this off-the-cuff street interview where a reporter asks the musical theatre scribe for his opinion on how Aaron Burr would feel about Donald Trump. In his answer, Miranda makes reference to Burr being one of two United States Vice Presidents to shoot a friend while in office.

The other would be George W. Bush's Veep Dick Cheney, who accidentally shot a buddy while quail hunting. Fortunately, he lived, otherwise the hottest ticket in town might have been the new musical WHITTINGTON.

Along with Lin-Manuel Miranda, the cast of HAMILTON is comprised of Daveed Diggs (Marquis De Lafayette,Thomas Jefferson), Renée Elise Goldsberry (Angelica Schuyler),Christopher Jackson (George Washington), Jonathan Groff (King George), Jasmine Cephas Jones (Peggy Schuyler, Maria Reynolds), Javier Muñoz (Hamilton alternate), Okieriete Onaodowan (Hercules Mulligan, James Madison), Leslie Odom, Jr. (Aaron Burr), Anthony Ramos (John Laurens, Philip Hamilton) and Phillipa Soo (Eliza Hamilton).

Good news - Hamilton's digital lottery is officially back for the winter, meaning that fans can enter online daily for a chance to see one of Broadway's biggest hits. Better news - this means that digital #Ham4Ham is back, featuring surprise performances from the cast. Enter in the digital lottery at www.hamiltonbroadway.com/lottery.
