Singer and current star of Broadway's Chicago Brandy Norwood thought she would treat a crowd of unsuspecting subway riders to a cover of 'Home' from THE WIZ. Appearing in disguise with a scarf, hoodie and sunglasses, the Grammy winner burst into the tune but much to her surprise, was mostly ignored by those around her! Check out the video.
The Tony Award-winning hit musical Chicago recently announced that, by popular demand, Norwood has extended her run as Roxie Hart through Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St., NYC).
A Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and actress, Norwood has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. She first stole our hearts with her multi-platinum self-titled debut album featuring the hit single "I Wanna Be Down."
