VIDEO: Broadway Inspirational Voices Performs 'Seize the Day' From NEWSIES

For 25 years Grammy™ and Tony™ award-nominated Michael McElroy and BIV have been lifting spirits with their music and service. This month they send out a rousing call to action filled with joy and promise, with Seize the Day from Newsies.

Arranged by Mr. McElroy (joined with Joseph Joubert on the piano arrangement) the song, with music by Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin) and lyrics by Jack Feldman (Oliver & Company, "Copacabana"), is orchestrated by Rick Bassett. The performance comes to a crescendo with BIV member Melody Betts' (Waitress the Musical) powerful vocals on solo obbligato.

Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) is a Grammy™-nominated choir with a mission: To provide HOPE to INSPIRE and TRANSFORM youth in need through music and The Arts. Founded by Tony™-nominated Michael McElroy in 1994 as the Broadway Gospel Choir, BIV is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization celebrating its 25th Anniversary.
