Seeing your favorite Broadway stars live on a Broadway stage may not be a reality for a while, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy them live from your screen. BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge is keeping up with all of their latest projects on Backstage Live, bringing you in-depth interviews twice weekly.

Watch as he chats with the incomparable Brian Stokes Mitchell who will soon join Seth Rudetsky for two very special concerts on Sunday, February 28 (3pm and 8pm).

What can fans expect from the shows? "What I love about Seth is that you never know what you're gonna do," teased Mitchell. "I have so many songs- I gave him a list of what must have been 30 songs. Of course, we can't do that many... so he picked some, then I added some more. I have no idea what exactly we'll sing, but it's one of the things that I love about Seth."

He also spoke to the necessity of the arts in these trying times. "There are so many people who don't really appreciate the importance of art and what artists really do. It's been artists who have gotten us through this whole pandemic. Art is everything in our lives that is beautiful. We really need to focus on artists and helping to get the sector going."
