BWW shares an exclusive clip from the Thursday, May 26th episode of the Syndicated game show CELEBRITY NAME GAME, featuring celebrity guest Yazz from EMPIRE.
In the clip below, when the category of 'Broadway' arises, host Craig Ferguson takes the opportunity to share how much he loves Broadway's Hamilton THE MUSICAL, and gives an on-air plea to be cast in the role as the next King George III. Referring to a line from one of the musical's numbers, Ferguson jokes, "I'm an immigrant, I get the job done!"
Just minutes later, when 'HAMILTON' comes up in the category, the contestant giving the clues fails to use Ferguson's comments to help her out! Check out the hilarious clip below!
CELEBRITY NAME GAME is hosted by Daytime Emmy®-winning game show host Craig Ferguson and executive produced by Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Fast-paced and funny, CELEBRITY NAME GAME pairs celebrities with contestants as they improvise clues to identify as many correct answers as possible in a given time period. The answers aren't just celebrity names but range from actors, singers, athletes and pop culture figures to places, brands, books, TV shows, movies, foods and even cartoon characters. Consisting of two competitive speed rounds followed by a third round where Craig Ferguson provides the clues, teams must then face a broad mix of clues and categories ranging from a single letter to a celebrity as they enter into the final $20,000 round!
