Adam Lambert returned to the American Idol stage to premiere his new song, "Welcome to the Show," featuring Swedish singer Laleh, who co-wrote the tune. Check out the performance below!

Last night on AMERICAN IDOL, the Top Five finalists were announced, including MacKenzie Bourg, Trent Harmon, Dalton Rapattoni, La'Porsha Renae and Sonika Vaid. Judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. determined that Vaid would be saved, leaving Tristan McIntosh to be eliminated.

Next week, Thursday, March 24 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live /PT tape-delayed), the Top Five will perform two songs. Multiple Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter/producer/hitmaker Sia will mentor the Top Five on songs from her repertoire, as well as perform her hit "Cheap Thrills" from her new album "This is Acting." Then, E Street Band's Stevie Van Zandt ("The Sopranos," "Lilyhammer") will mentor the finalists on classic rock songs. Actress and IDOL alum Katharine McPhee also will return to the stage to perform her memorable rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." During the penultimate week, IDOL judge Keith Urban will perform his new single on Thursday, March 31 (8:00-10:00 live ET/tape-delayed PT).
