On yesterday's THE VIEW on ABC, cast members from Disney's Aladdin reunited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the animated film. Below, check out the appearance by Scott Weinger (Aladdin), Linda Larkin (Jasmine), Jonathan Freeman (Jafar) and Gilbert Gottfried (Iago) as well as the film's Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken.
"First of all, he was my hero," said Weinger of the late Robin Williams who voiced the film's Genie. "The hardest part was not ruining all these takes by laughing!"
"Aladdin: Diamond Edition" blu-ray hit stores on Tuesday, October 13. The official description is as follows: "In the heart of an enchanted city, a commoner named Aladdin and his mischievous monkey Abu battle to save the free-spirited Princess Jasmine from the schemes of the evil sorcerer Jafar. Aladdin's whole life changes with one rub of a magic lamp as a fun-loving, shape-shifting Genie appears and grants him three wishes, setting him on an incredible journey of discovery."
