The second season of Jenji Kohan's Orange is the New Black is set to get just slightly more 'crazy.'
Broadway's Uzo Aduba, who plays scene-stealer 'Crazy Eyes' on the Netflix-exclusive show, has been upped to a series regular, Deadline reports.
OITNB also recently bumped up Taryn Manning and Danielle Brooks for the second season.
Produced by Lionsgate Television, the hour-long series starring Taylor Schilling, and based on the popular memoir of the same name by Piper Kerman, debuted its first 13-episode season on Thursday, July 11. The series also stars Jason Biggs, Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Michael Harney, Michelle Hurst, Maria Dizzia, and Natasha Lyonne.
Shooting on the sophomore season of Orange is the New Black began just a few weeks ago ahead of its early 2014 premiere date.
Aduba recently in The Public Theater's new original musical VENICE, as well as opposite WEEDS' Hunter Parrish in the 2011 revival of GODSPELL. Orange is the New Black marks her first regular turn on a television series.
