Urijah Faber to Lead Grand Opening of UFC Gym in Rocklin, CA, Today

UFC GYM® today announced the grand opening of its new location on Thursday, December 8, in Rocklin, California. Located at 6684 Lonetree Boulevard, this 10,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will offer complimentary classes and demonstrations from 4 - 9 p.m. PT to commemorate the launch of the state capital's newest fitness franchise.

UFC® bantamweight contender and former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber has partnered with fitness veteran Mark Polli and Mark Mastrov, New Evolution Ventures co-founder and part of the ownership group of the Sacramento Kings, on this location.

Faber, an 11-year veteran of both WEC and UFC competition, announced earlier this fall that his upcoming bout against Brad Pickett at UFC FIGHT NIGHT: VANZANT vs. WATERSON, will be the final installment of his Hall of Fame-worthy career.

Before he enters UFC's world-famous Octagon® one last time, 'The California Kid' is excited to open his latest entrepreneurial venture for all fight fans and fitness enthusiasts in his hometown.

The gym's explosive workout environment uses cutting-edge training techniques inspired by UFC athletes and provides members with everything needed for the entire family to sweat, move, live and Train Different®.

In addition to Faber, UFC® strawweight contender Paige VanZant will also be on hand to meet fans and lead demonstrations, beginning at 4 p.m.
