Up on the Marquee: BEAUTIFUL- THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL

The Pre-Broadway World Premiere run of the highly anticipated new musical Beautiful-The Carole King Musical just concluded its sold out at San Francisco's SHN Curran Theatre on October 20, 2013. The show will begin performances on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43 Street) on November 21, 2013 and officially opens on January 12, 2014. With a book by playwright and Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Douglas McGrath, direction by Marc Bruni and choreography by Josh Prince, Beautiful features a stunning array of beloved songs written by Gerry Goffin/Carole King and Barry Mann/Cynthia Weil.
