Untitled Nashville announces Spring Roll, their spring art show which takes place March 24 from 6-10 p.m. at the Fifth and Main mixed use development (501 Main Street in East Nashville). This show is a collaborative event with Turnip Green Creative Reuse, a new Nashville-based non-profit that focuses on diverting materials destined for the landfill into creative projects.
A wide variety of artists are participating and most of the works are for sale. Live art will be created during the event and sold benefiting both Untitled and Turnip Green. Sponsors for the evening include: Advocate Marketing & Print, Jerry's Artarama Nashville, and Myridia. Music will be provided by by DJ Get Better and there will be performances by The Konglomerate. Fifth and Main will have an open house for attendees to view condos. Untitled’s uncensored and unjuried exhibits typically feature between 60 and 125 artists from around Middle Tennessee, and are free and open to the public.
Turnip Green will have its own section featuring donated artwork for sale to help fund the organization’s start-up. There will also be a pop-up store full of great items ready and waiting for creative endeavors. There will also be a make-it and take-it booth to let people get hands-on experience creating art from items that would otherwise go to a landfill.

Turnip Green Creative Reuse (TGCR) is a nonprofit designed to divert usable material from our landfill for creative endeavors through innovative programming including workshops, retail store and community education. TGCR currently is being based out of a small storage space, home offices and donated workshop space. Eventually it will be in a much larger building. TGCR will have four areas of service: a retail store, education/outreach, artist studios, and a gallery. It will provide a neutral place for artists, educators, and any creative person to connect.
