Uncle Function to Play The Peoples Improv Theater, 5/21

Sketch group Uncle Function, a four time winner of UCB's Backyard Brawl, plays The Peoples Improv Theater on May 21st. The sketch team is comprised of 6 actors whose theatre and television credits include; The Awesome 80's Prom, Sense & Sensibility (Off Broadway/Bedlam), The Night Of (HBO), Unforgettable (A & E), and the new series, The Characters on Netflix. Additional performance dates will be announced soon.

Uncle Function was co-founded in 2015 by Broadway Producer Ken Davenport and company member Alex Fast. Since its inception, Uncle Function has performed at the Davenport Theatre, The PIT Loft, Broadway Comedy Club, Ensemble Studio Theatre and UCB. The majority of the sketch team consists of members who previously performed together in the hit interactive Off-Broadway comedy, That Bachelorette Show.

Not fit for parenthood, the men and women of Uncle Function present a night of uniquely theatrical sketch comedy, one of the smartest, silliest, and most seductively satisfying shows around. Just like your real Uncles, they'll make you laugh, cry, think, feel moderately uncomfortable, and send you back to your parents forever changed.

Uncle Function is written by and features Chris Cafero (The Night Of/HBO), Russell Daniels (That Bachelorette Show /Off-Broadway), Alex Fast (That Bachelorette Show /Off-Broadway), Jessica Frey (The Characters/Netflix), Douglas Goodhart (Douglas and The Goodharts/Lead Singer), and Gianmarco Soresi (GE Commercials currently airing).
