During the holiday season, cast members of Broadway's biggest shows collect contributions for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations.
After performances of Broadway's If/Then, Tony Award winner Idina Menzel has promised audience members that she will perform 'Let It Go,' the hit song from Disney's animated feature film 'Frozen,' if $5,000 was collected for the organization.

Menzel's highly-anticipated Christmas album, titled 'Holiday Wishes,' is now available on Warner Bros. Records. The album was produced by Grammy Award-winner Walter Afanasieff (Barbra Streisand,Celine Dion, Mariah Carey) and features such classic favorites as "A Holly Jolly Christmas" and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," as well asJoni Mitchell's Christmas-themed "River," one of Menzel's favorites.
Menzel rose to prominence when she originated the role of 'Maureen' in the hit Broadway musical RENT, a role which she reprised for the 2005 feature film adaptation of the musical. She received a Tony Award nomination in 1996 for her portrayal. In 2004, she won the Tony Award for Best LeadingActress in a Musical for originating the role of 'Elphaba' in the blockbuster Broadway musical WICKED. Menzel made her return to Broadway in the 2014 musical If/Then and was nominated for a 2014 Tony Award for her performance.
Menzel is also known for her recurring role of 'Shelby Corcoran' on the musical comedy-drama television series GLEE, her part in the 2007 Disney movie ENCHANTED and as THE VOICE of 'Elsa' in the Disney animated film FROZEN, which is the highest-grossing animated film of all time, and in which she sang the Academy Award-winning song "Let It Go."Videos
