(UN)REAL to Make World Premiere at the Gene Frankel Theatre, 12/4-8

Reckless Theatre Group presents (un)real, a world premiere play written by Elizabeth Lee. Taylor Haven Holt directs, and the play features Andrea Lynn Green* (Primary Stages' Harrison, TX), Matthew McShane, Charlie Gorrilla and Emily Mikesell*. Performances will be held at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street) beginning December 4, 2013 and running through December 8, 2013.

Desperately alone after her mother's untimely death, Catherine is forced to navigate her fractured family history and discover how to claim her own future. Is Catherine toeing The Edge of reality's cliff or has she already plunged into the crisp waters of a narrative that is (un)real?

Featured on the creative team are Rebecca Phillips (set design), Brandon Hardy (set design/painting), Stephanie Levin (costume design), Timothy Cook (lighting design), Emily Auciello (sound design), Benjamin Stelly (photography/graphic design), John O'Connor (dramaturg) and Whitney Urish (assistant director).

Reckless Theatre Group was started in 2009 by Producing Artistic Director Taylor Haven Holt, and they have since produced three mainstage productions - Stupid Kids (Under St. Marks), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Kraine Theatre) and Dog Sees God (Under St. Marks), as well as numerous readings and cabarets.The motivation of Reckless Theatre Group is to develop theatrical projects utilizing and engaging an emerging generation of artists.

Performances for (un)real will be held at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond St), New York, NY from December 4 - 8, 2013 on the following schedule: Wednesday - Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 2pm and 7pm, Sunday at 2pm.
