In Maria DeCotis's absurd, new play, a lonely flight attendant seeks a worldly explanation for happiness aboard an empty, airborne plane. Adapted from DeCotis's experiences traveling abroad, Unfaced explores how thoughts and actions from childhood reveal our present sense of purpose. Perspectives surpass differences in culture and language, connecting the play's many characters through their universal experience of remembering.
