Rahway, NJ -- A new exhibit titled Limited Sight / Unlimited Vision is now accepting artwork submissions by persons who are blind, have low vision, or are visually impaired.

The exhibit will run June 5-25, 2015 at two locations in Rahway, New Jersey: Hamilton Stage for the Performing Arts at 360 Hamilton Street and RSI Bank, 1500 Irving Street.

Limited Sight / Unlimited Vision will explore the ways visually impaired and blind Artists engage in the creative process and connect to the world.

The exhibit is presented by Union County Performing Arts Center & LuceGroup with funding from Rudolph Williams C. Hoffman Foundation, Caleb C. Pruden Trust and RSI Bank.

To be eligible, artists must be a minimum age of 18 and live in Union, Middlesex, Somerset, Essex or Morris counties of New Jersey. Submissions may be in two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork in any media. There is no entry fee.

"Limited Sight / Unlimited Vision is going to present an exceptional collation of art from a very unique creative perspective," says Lawrence E. McCullough, executive director of Union County Performing Arts Center. "Of course, that's what happens anytime art is made; as Picasso said, 'Painting is a blind man's profession. The artist paints not what he sees, but what he feels.'"
