Tynan Davis (The Phantom of the Opera North American Tour, Abyssinian Mass with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra) recently released her self-titled debut album, TYNAN. Co-produced by acclaimed trumpet player and arranger Kenny Rampton, TYNAN is a happy collection of tunes from musical theater, television, and film.

Two years in the making, TYNAN features Kenny Rampton on trumpet, Clark Gayton on trombone, Ted Nash on alto sax, Dan Block on tenor sax, Paul Nedzela on bari sax, Ray Gallon on piano, Jeff Carney on bass, and Jerome Jennings on drums. Arrangements by Nash, Gayton, Rampton, Gallon, Victor Goines, Vincent Gardiner, Sherman Irby, and Marcus Printup.

Noted as "a marvel: a stylish singer...whose presence lighted up the stage consistently" by The New York Times, Tynan will celebrate her debut release with a concert of the album at Dizzy's Club Coca- Cola (10 Columbus Circle) on Wednesday, March 22 at 7.30pm and 9.30pm. Tickets are available at Jazz.org.
