Twana Bond-Jones, owner of the Poetic Art Press and Poetic Art Productions, expressed the importance of bringing attention to the issue of gaming addiction. "For too long the issue of gaming addiction has been absent from public discussion. It is a very real problem that is destroying many marriages and relationships worldwide. Whether it is around the dinner table, in a therapy session, or in a creative setting like a stage play, we need to address this growing problem," Bond-Jones said. "I am very thankful that my play has been given the opportunity to reach millions and shed light on this issue" Based on critic reviews and the audience reactions, Bond-Jones says many feel the play really hits home and stays with them long after they leave the theater.
"Creativity needs to be shared and that is why it was so important to me to write and bring such a unique and compelling story to the stage. Gaming addiction is a growing cause of divorce in this country and choosing to tackle this issue, in this manner, is my attempt at giving a voice to the many people who are going through it and who may feel alone", said Twana Bond-Jones.
