Turquoise Jewelry Having a Moment

Singer-songwriter Rudy Parris took to the stage on NBC's "The Voice" clad in a Navajo-style squash blossom necklace and sporting turquoise rings on each hand.

"I think turquoise and silver are finding a much younger fan base, and we've been seeing a lot of celebrities and fashion enthusiasts take a traditional style and incorporate it in an edgy and daring way," said Chris Anderson with the online Southwest jewelry retailer SilverTribe. "My prediction is that we'll see a lot of Native American influenced jewelry throughout the fall, especially when more people see their favorite celebrities in popular turquoise styles," Anderson said. "This style of jewelry leaves so much room to show creativity and individuality."
