Tune and Minnelli Amongst BTOI Honorees

The Sixty-third Boys' Towns of Italy "Ball of the Year" will be honored Tommy Tune, Liza Minnelli, Louis R. Cappelli and Mark Simone. Tune, the Tony and Drama Desk-winning actor, dancer, singer, choreographer, director and producer is named Entertainer of the Year. Minnelli, the Academy Award-winning singer and dancer is named Woman of the Year. Cappelli, a prominent real estate developer and founder of the Louis R. Cappelli Foundation which assists at-risk youth. Simone is a famed broadcaster. Minnelli will also sing at the event, which takes place on April 12. Cocktails and the photo op begin at 7pm with the dinner and entertainment at 8pm. The ceremony is at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, 3 Renaissance Plaza, White Plains, NY.

BTOI is an organization committed to aiding underprivileged children from around the world. They come from 14 war-ravaged nations, and have fled thousands of miles to the relative safety of a Boys' Town.
