Trusty Sidekick Theater Company Presents WE ARE ALL TOURISTS

Trusty Sidekick Theater Company (TSTC) will premiere We Are All Tourists, an outdoor promenade theatrical "tour" for children and families in New York City on Governors Island this September. The project -- led by TSTC artists Jamie Agnello (Playwright) and Robert Stevenson (Director) and in collaboration with a team of theater artists -- will perform on Saturday, September 16th and Saturday, September 23rd at 11:30 am, 12:00 pm, 2:30 pm & 3:00 pm.

We Are All Tourists (WAAT) is an outdoor promenade theatrical experience for kids and families. The experience employs elements of immersive theater, physical theater, and original sound design to introduce a tour company called We Are All Tourists that gives one-of-a-kind experimental tours of New York City. But these are not your typical tours -- WAAT specializes in tours of alternate versions of New York City -- versions that could only exist if any of us made a different choice somewhere on life's journey. During the tour, the guides and tourists search for the long-lost founder of the company, Lou, who is reaching out from another reality. The tour turns into a cross between a scavenger hunt and a choose-your-own adventure exploring the gorgeous grounds of Governors Island, putting the audience right in the middle of the action!

The show was originally created in the Summer of 2016 and had a workshop production on The Highline in New York City. Capacity for each show is limited to 18 audience members at a time and is intended for audiences ages 8+ Tickets and more information can be found at www.trustysidekick.org.

Alpha and Scout are searching for their friend and colleague, Lou. Could she be stuck in an alternate reality? Explore Governors Island's breathtaking views and solve the clues to reunite these reality hoppers. Please arrive to House 410A on Colonels Row of Governors Island by the tour's start time. As it is a promenade experience, latecomers will not be able to join the tour.
