Tro Shaw*, recently seen as Anybodys in the original cast of Broadway's award-winning West Side Story revival, has joined the cast of the upcoming BJ: A MUSICAL ROMP. BJ is presented as part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, and will play six performances at the Gene Frankel Theatre, June 15-June 25. Shaw will play the role of Destiny, a sexually-aggressive college freshman with a notorious oral fixation.

BJ: A MUSICAL ROMP tells the story of the first day of college, which, for Benyamin Jeremiah, means leaving his over-protective mother, attending school outside his home, and - gulp - talking to girls. Join BJ, his beer-guzzling roommate, an innocent mathlete, an orally-fixated seductress, and a gay RA, as they learn to go down...a different road.

BJ: A MUSICAL ROMP features a catchy score by Eric Jarboe and witty libretto by Peter Dagger, and includes such songs as "Blue Ball Blues" and "I Love Math." Directed by Matt Britten, this story of young college romance will have you rolling in your chair laughing. The show is produced by Peter and Matt's Production Company.
Tickets are $18. For tickets or more information, please visit: www.planetconnectionsfestivity.com or www.bjamusicalromp.com.

The cast also includes Andrew Redlawsk*, Kate Bodenheimer*, William Goulet Kean, Tramaine Montell Ford, and Susan McBrien*.
