Trent Hancock Performs At Rock & Wrap it Up! Benefit 12/1

Hollywood Music In Media Award Nominee, Trent Hancock, has teamed up with Rock & Wrap it Up! for an intimate performance at their December 1st benefit at Citi Field stadium. The program, which will include a live auction as part of the fundraiser, showcases Trent as the night's sole featured performer. Jackie Martling (ex-Howard Stern), will be hosting the event, which also honors David Alcaro with the 2010 Rock and Wrap It Up! Lena and Joseph Mandelbaum Humanitarian Award.
Rock and Wrap It Up! recovers food and other assets to be given to agencies fighting poverty, increasing their operating budgets. This allows the agencies to hire more services such as tutors, social workers, job placement counselors and mental health counselors to attack the root cause of poverty. The organization helped to write and implement the Federal Food Donation Act of 2008 which encourages all federal buildings to feed the hungry and keep food out of landfills. RWU has recently partnered with the National Hockey League to donate all concession food from its 30 franchises to feed the poor in North America.

"Trent's beautiful music and voice is insightful and personal, just like volunteering to work with us," says Syd Mandelbaum, CEO and Founder of Rock and Wrap It Up! "I am thrilled to be working with such a great cause. I am very excited to perform for the benefactors of Rock & Wrap It Up!," adds Trent.

Trent recently released his debut EP ‘GHOSTBIRD'. The 6-song work strings together thought-provoking lyrics with a strikingly smooth sound. Hancock was selected as Clear Channel Radio's NEW! MUSIC MONDAY Artist On The Rise across their network on October 11th.. All stations, including KBCO (Denver), The Sound (St Louis), Lite FM (New York City) and KOST (Los Angeles), have proudly spotlighted Trent on their homepages to introduce him to listeners.
