Seventeen songs from the jam-packed Wall to Wall Sondheim event that was held at Peter Norton Symphony Space last year have been preserved on a new CD that can now be pre-ordered online. The CD will be released on March 14th.
Wall to Wall Sondheim was presented on March 19th, 2005--a few days before the 75th birthday of the legendary composer/lyricist. The event was free, but many fans were turned away from the wildly popular all-day concert, which was hosted by Symphony Space artistic director Isaiah Sheffer and featured dozens of stars performing Sondheim songs spanning over fifty years of the composer's work.
