The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street) New York's landmark concert venue presents the 11th season of its acclaimed Broadway By The Year® series, created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall on Valentine's Day, Monday, February 14th at 8PM. Kicking off the 90th Anniversary of The Town Hall, the Broadway By The Year® season will begin with THE BROADWAY MUSICALS of 1921, celebrating the great music that was performed the same year the historic building came to be.
Tickets are just $45, $50 and $55 and are available at The Town Hall Box Office, 123 West 43rd Street, 212-840-2824 or www.the-townhall-nyc.org or Ticketmaster, 800-982-2787 or www.ticketmaster.com.
Broadway by the Year takes the audience on a musical journey through the best of the Great White Way, featuring show-stopping numbers as well as lesser-known gems and little known facts and humor about our favorite shows. The New York Times called the series "an event that is treasured by Broadway babies." This season's shows will include the Broadway musicals of 1921, 1932, 1982 and 1997.
"Every year we try to do something we've never done before, making the series bigger and more surprising at every turn," said
Scott Siegel. "With 1921, when Broadway was flourishing with shows like The Follies, The Scandals, etc. we're going to recreate that saucy era with our own bevy of tall, leggy showgirls - except our "SiegFeld Girls" will be among the most talented of all our Broadway Gypsies . In a word, this show is going to be fun."
