Four-time Tony nominee and four-time Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Award winning actress Tovah Feldshuh will star in the upcoming industry readings of the new romantic comedy, Handle With Care, by Jason Odell Williams.
This new romantic comedy is the story of Ayelet, an Israeli woman who is dragged by her grandmother Edna on a road trip to America in search of a dream. The clues her grandmother deftly leaves behind eventually lead Ayelet to find what she didn't even know she was looking for…her destiny.
Fate and hilarious circumstance bring together this beautiful young woman with little command of English, and a young man with little command of romance. Is their inevitable love an accident...or destiny generations in the making?
Joining Ms. Feldshuh in the cast will be Jonathan Sale, Sheffield Chastain and Charlotte Cohn. The readings are directed by Jeremy Dobrish.
The readings will be held at MTC Studios (311 West 43rd St., 8th Floor) on Tuesday, October 16th at 11:00am and 2:00pm and Thursday, October 18th at 1:00pm.
Handle With Care will be produced off-Broadway in Spring, 2013 by Douglas Denoff and Charlotte Cohn.
The readings of Handle With Care will be stage managed by Cambra Overend and general managed is by Brierpatch Productions.
Handle With Care has had two very successful runs at The Kitchen Theatre in Ithaca, NY in July 2011, (when it was then titled At A Loss), and at the Gulfshore Playhouse in Naples, Florida in October, 2011.
