Broadway Stars will come together to perform in "Broadway Sensation," a benefit celebrating Israel's future on Monday, May 16th, 2011 at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall.. New Yorkers will be simultaneously treated to a star-studded event broadcast live in Times Square.

Broadway Sensation co-chairs, currently producing the hottest Broadway Shows in town including Jo Sullivan Loesser, Lorenzo Thione, Adam Blanshay, and Richard Frankel, are lending their considerable experience to this event.

Veteran Broadway producer Richard Frankel says, "Broadway stars and sensational discoveries perform in this fantastic evening filled with unforgettable moments."

"This event highlights Israel's young, vibrant culture filled with excitement and desire for a better, stable future," says Shai Baitel, OR Movement's U.S. Director and Executive Producer for the event. "This night will be filled with stars of Broadway and stars of David."

"Throughout my career, I have been most fortunate to portray strong Jewish women steeped in their faith and values. May this night sing to its audience about the love of the arts and the love of a country, called Israel," says Broadway legend Tovah Feldshuh.

JNF, AICF, and OR have created a strong collaboration to achieve a joint vision for the south of Israel. OR Movement has built an information center in the Negev providing housing solutions, job opportunities, and education. The center highlights cultural activities, and gives exposure to the talented Israeli artists that AICF supports and nurtures. JNF is building an amphitheatre in the city of Beersheba, giving the families of the Negev a stronger cultural identity as well as growing economic value.

Broadway Sensation will take place on Monday, May 16th, 2011, 8:00 pm, in Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, located at Broadway and 65th Street in New York City. Tickets are $70 and $100 and VIP tickets are $500 through Lincoln Center (www.lincolncenter.org).

Since 1901, Jewish National Fund has developed the land of Israel and improved the quality of life for all its residents. Today it is working on developing sustainability in the Negev desert for the next generation. "A concert as varied and star-studded as this is a wonderful way to show Israel's contributions to the world, its energy, vision and talents," says Ronald S. Lauder, Chairman of the Board of Jewish National Fund.

The America-Israel Cultural Foundation has been a pillar of Israeli culture since 1939, supporting over 14,000 artists and 600 cultural institutions in Israel, and building a better future for Israel through the arts.

"During my army service, AICF has had a major impact on my life; their work, often unrecognized, will surely shine as I join my fellow Israelis in this live sensational event," says Dudu Fisher, Cantor, Actor and Singer, and AICF recipient.

OR Movement, established in 2002, is the central organization working to develop and populate the Negev and Galilee regions in Israel, establishing ground-breaking new communities in Israel each year since its inception.

"Our movement in Israel has grown exponentially each year, and we are excited for our signature event in NYC to have such an amazing young and dynamic vibe as Broadway celebrates Israel," says Roni Flamer, OR Movement Co-Founder and CEO.
